Aquatic Area

The stunning 25m pool at Club Rathdowne includes 4 lanes and semi-enclosed environment and it’s heated for use all year round. It’s an ideal place to de-stress, swim and relax. Club Rathdowne offers an outdoor aquatic toddler/Kids play area.

HOURS:
6.00am to 10.00pm

AQUATIC AREA RULES OF USE:

  • Children below the age of 16 years may use the aquatic areas and changing rooms only if supervised by an adult Member.
  • Babies and toddlers MUST wear suitable swimwear including waterproof nappies (Swimmer Nappies) whilst using the pools.
  • Glass objects, drinking glasses and sharp objects are not permitted in the aquatic areas.
  • Food is not permitted in the aquatic areas. 
  • Alcohol is not permitted in any area.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the aquatic areas. Smoking is not permitted in any area.
  • Storage compartments are to be used only while the Member is using pool/aquatic area; Storage compartments are to be
    cleared when the Member leaves pool/aquatic area.
  • For the hygiene of all users of the swimming pool you must shower before using the pool
  • All users of the swimming pool must dry off before leaving this area.
  • Footwear must be worn to and from the aquatic areas.
  • All users of the aquatic areas must ensure appropriate attire is worn at all times (ie, nude swimming is not permitted).
  • Running, ball playing, noisy or hazardous activities are not permitted in the aquatic areas. 
  • There is strictly NO DIVING.
  • Offensive behaviour or language will not be tolerated. 
  • All users of the aquatic areas do so at their own risk.
  • Club Rathdowne and Centre Management reserve the right to close down the pool amenities for an extended period of time due to maintenance and/or to ensure the health & safety of all members of the amenities.
  • Any member in breach of these rules will be asked to vacate the amenities immediately.
  • Access to Club Rathdowne may be withdrawn if Member fails to comply with the above rules of use.

**ACTIVELY SUPERVISED**
Active supervision requires focused attention and intentional observation of children at all times. parents/guardians MUST position themselves so that they can observe the children: watching and listening at all times. This constant vigilance helps keep children safe.
